The Massacre at Chios is a painting which painted by Edugene Delacroix in 1824. The painting discribe a massacre at chios, people in it are scared or violent. The colours in it have strong contract, because different colour make the expression in people's face are more real. The coluds in the sky make the painting more grieved. The close scene and the perspective are separate un two parts to express cruel turkish invaders make the greek have serious disasters. In the close scene, the greeks are painful and we can see lots greeks in perspective have the same encounter. People in this painting are hopeless and miserable, that's Delacroix want to tell the viwer.
